Training and Education Committee

The Training and Education Committee shall consist of six members, with the Chair appointed by the President with the assistance and approval of the elected officers. Members shall serve staggered terms of two years, with three appointed each year. The Committee shall engage with students and partner with educational institutions to increase awareness of the importance of archaeological research, field investigations, and preservation. The Committee shall make recommendations of outstanding examples of work in public education to the Awards and Grants Committee. The Committee shall also assist the Executive Committee and other Committee Chairs to coordinate and facilitate professional development and educational activities.
