Join the professional community in Texas to learn about conducting archaeology in the Lone Star State, current laws and regulations, current news and events, archaeological standards and guidelines developed by CTA, and public outreach. Students are welcome.
To join, please download and complete our 2017 MEMBERSHIP FORM. Existing members who need update your contact information can also download and submit the membership form.
To pay your dues: you can pay by check or through clicking on the “PURCHASE MEMBERSHIPS ONLINE” link below (powered by Square). If you prefer to make your payment by check, please include it with the membership form and send it to the CTA Secretary at the address on the form. Or better yet, come to the Spring or Fall CTA meetings and pay either by check or credit card!
If you wish to pay online, there will be a small fee (between $1.00 and $4.00) automatically added to your transaction to account for the service fee.
Remember, if you wish to have your company added to the Contractor’s List, at least one employee of your company will also need to become a member of CTA.
Company/Contractor to be listed (Company listing also requires one of the following professional categories) $125, or $129 using PayPal
Professional (annual income more than than $20,000 per year) $30, or $31 if paying online
Professional (annual income less than than $20,000 per year) $15, or $16 if paying online
Student (annual income more than than $20,000 per year) $25, or $26 if paying online
Student (annual income less than than $20,000 per year) $15, or $16 if paying online
Institution/Library (receive CTA newsletter only; no voting privileges) $25, or $26 paying online
Membership is based on the calendar year January-December.
